Can this course be done at my own pace on my own?

Our course is designed to be taught by a teacher, in two-hour classes, twice a week. The course materials in the student portal are there to review and practice as often as you would like.

What do I get with my monthly subscription?

Your monthly class subscription covers your month’s worth of live lessons with your teacher, online access to course materials, and online student account maintenance. Students also receive a discount for softcover printed books available in the bookstore with their subscription.

Do I need printed materials for this course?

Your monthly class subscription gives you online access to course materials for the life of your subscription, which includes pdfs and audio files for your level subscription.

We find it very helpful to have a physical book to reference and write in a while learning English, so we include a discount for bookstore items for enrolled students; however, buying a printed book is not necessary.

What can I do if I don’t understand what the speaker is saying?

You can use “In Chat Translation” which helps you translate from English to your native language. Also, just raise your hand and ask so the teacher can explain and send you new words whenever you get stuck.

What if I need to change my subscription information?

Should you need to cancel your membership or update your billing information or address, you can log into your student portal and access your account information on the top right of the page. If you want help with something else, please feel free to reach out to our team by hitting the ‘Get Support’ button at the bottom of the main page in your student portal or using the Contact page.

If I am logged into my student portal, how do I navigate back to the main website?

On the top of your screen in the student portal, click ‘Account’ and then ‘Log Out’. This will close your student portal and send you back to the home page.

I have zero knowledge of foreign languages. Can I learn to speak a new language with Living Words?

Living Words is an English language course, and we have different levels to cover most of your needs. However, you are expected to have some small ability to speak and understand spoken English.

My church is interested in teaching English and/or hosting classes. Can you help with this?

My schedule is a bit unpredictable. Can I adjust my schedule?

If you are unable to do your scheduled class we will try to find another time and will inform you about what to do.
