Living Words and its founders value the incredible experience our teachers bring to the curriculum and our students. Each teacher is qualified and experienced in teaching English, including certifications in teaching ESL and TEFL courses such as ours. All of our teachers are professionals with multiple years of active classroom and management experience both in schools and online.

The course develops the theme of God’s character as expressed in his love, grace and infinite goodness, and develops through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, culminating in the experience of the Holy Spirit’s enabling and the power of a fully satisfying personal relationship with God, in the expectation of Jesus’ imminent return.

It goes beyond the everyday language to include the vocabulary we use to express spiritual ideas, to pray and talk about the Christian reality, express Bible truths and explain a vital relationship with God, through characters and stories which can then be used as a stepping-stone to discussions.

Live, online sessions consisting of private teaching at your level. The unique aspect of the Living Words product is that it is an all-inclusive package. The students and teacher have no added costs or requirements outside of the lessons, not even photocopying of extra class work, because the accompanying resources are supplied in each unit: MP3, Teacher Resource Materials, Tests, Revision Exercises, Grammar Reference, Role Play, Communication Games., Songs, Reading Exercises, plus Homework, Lesson Plans and Answers, and more.

The aim is to rapidly take students to a level where they can understand, think and communicate effectively in English in a relaxed, fun way. For each hour of lesson we recommend an equal amount of time studying and practicing at home.

The amount of introduced vocabulary progresses quickly and assumes that oral exercise is occurring constantly, and being practiced as an integral part of the course and teaching activities. Memorizing grammar and a list of words does not mean you can speak English; therefore this course teaches students to think and speak in English on a variety of topics, and builds up their ability to respond to real life situations, answer questions and summarize short reading texts developed on a solid grammatical base.

The amount of real text reading exercises significantly increases in the second and third levels, encouraging comprehension and new vocabulary awareness which culminates in student discussions at the end of each unit.

The last part of each book contains communication activities and games, which are a fun way of reviewing material. These are integrated as much as possible into the lessons, as they give students invaluable practice at using the language and revising the structures in a natural setting. It also assists by filling in gaps in the individual student’s knowledge, since no group of students is homogenous, and forces every student to use the language in real life situations.
